Neonatal Resuscitation

The fee is $45.00 for both MMA members and non-members. Registration and payment must be made by April 1st. Please be aware that there is an additional fee for the online test that must be taken beforehand (approx $25.00). This class is based on the 6th edition book which you will need to either buy or borrow beforehand and read. The online test must be taken within 30 days prior to the class and verification of the test brought to the class. You will receive further details by email once it gets closer to the date.

Professional membership

Non-members, consider joining while registering for the conference. Memberships are generally $65 for the year, but we are offering a special rate of $40.00. This is available for new members only. The membership will expire 12/31/2015. When selecting this option, you are eligible to register for the members only early bird registration rate if done by April 1st

Student membership

Student memberships are usually $40/year. We are currently offering a special of $25 for students that have never been a member and purchase a conference registration. Your membership will expire on 12/31/2015. When purchasing this membership, you are eligible for the members only early registration conference price of $200 when registering by April 1st.

Overnight accomodations and meals ONLY

This registration is for someone that is coming along (like a partner or babysitter) but will not be attending the sessions. It includes overnight accommodations in a shared room and dinner Friday and breakfast and lunch Saturday.

Event details

Please join us on Friday, May 1st and Saturday, May 2nd at the Kettunen Center in Tustin (outside of Cadillac) for our annual conference. This is an all inclusive retreat geared towards midwives, students, and other birth professionals, featuring fantastic speakers, overnight accommodations, and meals.  5 MEAC credits have been awarded.  All you have to do is pre-register and show up, knowing your food and lodging has already been taken care of. If you have a hearing screen machine, please bring it to the conference to be calibrated.

1:00-3:00 Hearing screen training by Nan Asher, MLS (for anyone that has not previously done this and is interested in learning how)
3:30-4:30 Refresher hearing screen (for anyone that's been previously trained but would like a refresher or to discuss tips and tricks)
3:00-5:00 Tricks of the Trade roundtable discussion - Primips and Grand Multips.  Feel free to come and go if you're also doing NRP or hearing screening.

***** If there is an interest in peer review and you won't be going to NRP or the initial hearing screen training, please let us know! We may possibly schedule one from 1:00-3:00 if there is a need.
